How do I find an evaluator?
Use our search page to browse evaluators in your state. You can filter by grade level, specialties, and meeting type (virtual or in-person). Each evaluator's profile shows their credentials, pricing, and what they'll need from you.
What does it cost?
Each evaluator sets their own pricing. You'll see the exact price on their profile before you book. A small service fee is added at checkout. There are no hidden charges.
How do I pay?
Payment happens securely at the time of booking through Stripe. Your evaluator receives their payment directly — no Venmo, no checks, no cash.
What do I need to upload?
After booking, you'll see a personalized checklist from your evaluator showing exactly what to submit. You can upload photos, PDFs, and documents directly from your computer or phone.
How do I get my evaluation letter?
After your evaluation meeting, your evaluator generates your letter and it's delivered as a downloadable PDF. It's also saved to your account for future reference.
Is my data safe?
All uploads are encrypted. Files are automatically deleted 90 days after your evaluation is complete. We collect minimal information — just what's needed for the evaluation — and we never sell your data.

Do you verify evaluator credentials?
Evaluators self-report their qualifications. We do not independently verify credentials — families are responsible for confirming their evaluator meets their state's requirements, as they always have been.
What states do you support?
We're currently serving Pennsylvania, with more states coming soon. Each state has its own default checklist and letter templates based on that state's evaluation requirements.
Who built this?
HomeschoolEvaluators was built by a homeschool grad who saw firsthand how chaotic evaluation season can be. This is the tool the homeschool community has been missing.
